I’m Victor Gosa, a Miami-based contemporary artist. I grew up drawing superheroes with my father, then stepped away from art for a while as life moved fast. In 2017, during Hurricane Irma, I picked up a brush again and asked a question that changed everything: how old am I in days? That number became my signature.
I call it Days Alive™. Every artwork is marked with my day count a timestamp that connects the piece to my timeline and invites you to think about yours. Over the years, I experimented across mediums (acrylic, oil, spray paint, mixed media) and learned what people connect with through commissions and public activations. That chapter helped me grow, but my focus has evolved.
Today I'm creating more self-storytelling work: paintings that capture milestones, special occasions, and the messages I want to live by as I enter a new decade of life gratitude, self-love, family, and being the kind of person who helps others. I still do live painting, but in a more intentional way private bookings for corporate events, celebrations, and causes I believe in.
My work blends bright color, layered texture, and pop-culture references into modern icons with a personal point of view. If you see a Days Alive™ number on the canvas, you're looking at a moment from my life and an invitation to honor your own. In GOSA We Trust.
